my boyfriend has friends that are 10 years younger than him, is that odd?

My boyfriend of 3 years recently became employed at a sporting goods store where several high school students are employed as well. Being that it is a sporting goods store, they all like to go snowboarding/skiing on their days off. Most of the kids are 10 years younger than him, yet he'll hang out with them after work, and sometimes he'll bring them over to our apartment. I feel he sometimes goes out of his way to impress these kids, (which frankly, I find very lame and makes me question what I am doing in this relationship). Today he went snowboarding with a couple kids he works with who are under 21, and some of their friends, (some girls and some boys). I noticed he packed 8 beers in a mini-cooler to "tailgate." Only one of the girls going is over 21-I'm no prude, and I realize by saying this aloud, I can feel myself getting older, but I just find it a little odd that he has such young friends. Am I wrong, and should I be worried? It honestly freaks me out a little, he's 33 years old, why is he hanging out with girls and boys who are only 17-20?

Well I perfer to hang out with older people (seniors) to be exact, it is a matter of taste, as long as he is not cheating with some other girl then what is wrong with some young friends. Youth keeps one alive, don't worry and don't fix anything that is not broken. Don't be his mommy either just let him be and you too will be happy. Best

Okay Sally, that is a little odd, and I am no prude either. Maybe he feels young when he is with these kids; maybe he feels wise when he is with them; how old is your boyfriend emotionally? Maybe the kids use him to get them liquor...I don't know, but I would be a little wary myself. Just observe and don't make a big deal out of it, I am just saying, you have a right to be a little concerned...

Man i will never understand completely the way the rest of the world thinks, i mean whats wrong with hanging out with younger people then you? is not like his havin sex with them right? Todays society is to uptight peoples moral have changed to much if you guys would only think a little like me the world would be a much better place i can honestly say. I've dated older woman and i'm only 19 you might be think thats ojay but this was when i was younger then 18, is it wrong? yes and no it depends how your morals are set i personally don't care, but i don't advise other people to do what i did because is agaist the law and you get someone in trouble, but i never got caught with either the 27 or 23 year old, and we had a good run, so to answer your question, no you shouldnt worry about it, only thing you should be worrying about is one of those kids getting hurt, because when the ambulance gets there your husband is gonna get in trouble for providing them with beer. other then that you have nothing to worry about, well to a certain degree, just keep and eye on him is all, don't nag/bitch him guys hate it when there wife/gf nag/bitch at them, i find it hot thought :P
